Apply for a refund for environment and planning permit fees
In certain cases you can request a refund for part of the fees for an environment and planning permit (omgevingsvergunning).
You can request a refund for the fees for:
- environment and planning permits for building work
- environment and planning permits for an activity under the Omgevingsplan

| The application is withdrawn after 6 weeks after the application was received: | 50% |
| The application is dismissed within 6 months after the application was received: | 100% |
| The application is dismissed after more than 6 months after application was received: | 80% |
| After the permit is rejected. You only get a refund for the activities for which the permit was rejected: | 50% |
| Permit is cancelled within 1 year after the permit was finalised: | 50% |
- For an environment and planning permit for building work you always pay a minimum amount of € 169. (Except for in situations where you get a 100% refund).
- You can apply for a refund up until 1 year after the date on which:
- the application is withdrawn
- the application is dismissed
- the enivornment and planning permit is rejected
- You can apply for a refund if the environment and planning permit is cancelled, up until 1 calendar year after the permit was finalised.

You will receive a decision from the municipality within 8 weeks on whether you will get a refund for the fees.
