Pay for parking permit

You can pay for your parking permit in 2 ways: with direct debit or by invoice. Or would you like to change your method of payment or your bank account number? Read how you can arrange this.

Would you like to pay automatically? Then you can set up a direct debit order. You then authorise the municipality to deduct the charges from your bank account each year. Request direct debit in MijnDenHaag or by using the digital form.

In MijnDenHaag

  • Log in to Begin external link: MijnDenHaag(External link), end external link. using your DigiD. There you will see a list of your parking permit(s).
  • Click on ‘Details’ next to the permit number for which you want to request direct debit.
  • In the following screen (‘Parking permit details’) click on the link ‘Request direct debit’ next to ‘Extension payment method’.

Use the digital form

You can also use the digital form to request direct debit or make a change. You can do this with or without DigiD. You will need the following to do so:

  • Did you opt to pay the parking permit by invoice when you applied for it? Then you will receive a bill after submit your application.
  • Are you paying by invoice and will your permit soon expire? Then you will receive an invoice 4 weeks before the permit expires
  • You can pay your bill online in MijnDenHaag. Or by transferring the money yourself.

In MijnDenHaag

You will need to transfer the amount in full via MijnDenHaag. It is not possible to pay in instalments.

Transfer the money yourself

You will need to transfer the full amount through your bank. It is not possible to pay in instalments. You can transfer the amount to:

payable to GEM Den Haag DSB Park
include the 16-digit payment reference (betalingskenmerk) with your payment

You do not have the payment reference?

  • Include the name, address and postal code of the permit holder and the type of parking permit in the description.
  • Did you apply for your permit on behalf of a company or organisation? Include your KVK number and your permit number.
  • Are you paying from abroad? Include the BIC (SWIFT code): BIC BNGHNL2G.

Your parking permit will be valid again once the municipality has processed your payment.

Cancel direct debit

Are you paying with direct debit and would you rather receive an invoice? You can cancel the standing direct debit order up to a maximum of 6 weeks before your parking permit is extended. You can do this using the Begin external link: digital form(External link), end external link..

Change bank account number

Are you paying with direct debit and do you have a new bank account number? You can change it in MijnDenHaag.

  • Log in to Begin external link: MijnDenHaag(External link), end external link. using your DigiD. There you will see a list of your parking permit(s).
  • Click on ‘Details’ next to the permit number for which you want to change the bank account number.
  • In the following screen (‘Parking permit details’) click on the link ‘Change account number’ next to your bank account number.
  • You can now fill in your new bank account number.

Report your change in writing

You can also report your changes by sending an email or letter. Contact the Begin link: Municipal Parking Division, end link. .

It takes a maximum of 5 working days for the municipality to process your payment.

Did you pay your parking permit too late? Then your permit will no longer be valid as of the date the permit expires. You can still pay for it by transferring the amount.
