Apply for parking permit for car sharing
Do you share a car (deelauto) with somebody and do you live in 2 different parking permit areas? Than you can both apply for a resident’s parking permit for your own parking permit area.
If 1 of you does not live in a parking permit area, you can still apply for a parking permit.
If both of you live in the same parking permit area, then only 1 permit is needed.
Conditions for 2 permit areas
The following conditions apply to applicants who both live in an area where parking permits are needed:
- The applicants both live in a different permit area in The Hague. Look at the maps on the Begin link: Deelauto.nl, end link. .
- Is the car registered in the name of the lease company or employer? Then the applicants also must show the lease statement or employer’s declaration.
Important to know: you will pay an administration fee for both permits.
Conditions for 1 permit area
If 1 of you does not live in a parking permit area, then the following conditions apply:
- The applicant lives in a permit area in The Hague.
- The 2nd user lives in the Haaglanden region (The Hague, Zoetermeer, Westland, Delft, Leidschendam-Voorburg, Pijnacker-Nootdorp, Rijswijk, Wassenaar or Midden-Delfland).
- You can show a signed declaration with the mutual agreements and/or promissory notes on the use of the car. (For example by using the Begin external link: Deelauto.nl(External link), end external link..
- Is the car registered in the name of the lease company or employer? Then the applicants also must show the lease statement or employer’s declaration.
