Beachteam providing hospitality in Scheveningen
This summer you will see them on the boulevard and the beach in Scheveningen: the new Beachteam. Wearing brightly coloured shirts with the name ‘Beachteam’ on their back, you almost cannot miss them. These enthousiastic municipal employees are there to offer visitors help.
Members of the team can answer your questions. And provide information about what is going on at the coast. Such about parking and wheel clamps, the meaning of the beach flags, and rubbish. The team is also supporting campaigns. Such as on swimming safety, Park + Beach, and the smoke-free beach. It is handing out 06-wristbands to people with young children. The parents can write their telephone number on the wristband so that they can be contacted if their children are lost.
The Beachteam is working to make Scheveningen beach welcoming, high quality and safe. In July and August 2024 the team will be working from Wednesday to Sunday.
