Security during NATO Summit

The NATO Summit will be held at the World Forum in The Hague from 24 to 26 June 2025. Many government leaders, ministers, delegation members and journalists will attend the summit. This will require good security measures. The municipality will inform you about this.

Joint partnership

Many organisations are working together to make sure that the required security measures are in place. The Netherlands Police and Ministry of Defence will play an important role in terms of security. They will ensure that the summit proceeds safely and without any disruptions. Thousands of police officers and military personnel from all over the country are expected to be deployed. The municipality will be responsible for the safety of area residents and the public order. The interests of the residents, businesses and visitors to The Hague will be taken into consideration as much as possible.

The municipality is working together with other organisations to prepare for the summit. The municipality expects this autumn to have a better idea of what the impact on the city will be.
