Choose the wisest way of travelling to The Hague’s coast. The fastest way to get to the beach is by bicycle, public transportation, moped or a shared bike or e-moped. Are you planning to drive? Park in a parking garage.
Getting to Scheveningen and Kijkduin
By bicycle, moped, shared bicycle or shared e-moped

- Park your bicycle, shared bicycle or moped (scooter) along the boulevard in 1 of the free Begin external link: bicycle parking facilites(External link), end external link..
- Park your shared e-moped (deelscooter) in 1 of the specially designated spaces, including at the Zwarte Pad, Korte Zeekant, Vissershavenweg and at the Beach Stadium. You can find the parking facilities in the app of the providers (Felyx, Go Sharing and Check).

From Den Haag Hollands Spoor (HS) station:

By boat

By car
On busy days it is often difficult to find a parking spot at the beach. Are you planning to drive? Then it is faster and easier to park using Begin external link: Park + Beach(External link), end external link. or in a Begin link: parking garage, end link. . On-street parking in residential areas costs € 6.75 per hour and there is a maximum time limit of 2 hours.

These garages are located just outside of Scheveningen. Park your motorcycle in the free parking lane on the Strandweg near tram 11 turning loop.
By bicycle, moped, shared bicycle or shared e-moped

- Park your bicycle for free in the Kijkduinsestraat bicycle parking facility or at the Zandvoortselaan car park.
- Park your moped (scooter) at the Zandvoortselaan car park.
- Park your shared e-moped (deelscooter) in its own parking facility. You can find these in the app of the providers (Felyx, Go Sharing and Check).
By bus
From The Hague’s Centraal Station (CS) and Laan van NOI station:

People with a disability
People using a wheelchair, mobility scooter or walker can easily get to The Hague’s beaches.

You can hire (electric) beach wheelchairs for a ride on the beach at the bicycle parking facility on the Strandweg in Scheveningen. Or you can hire a ScoutCrawler. This is a mobility aid with caterpillar tracks which you can place your own wheelchair in.
