  • You no longer need to visit the municipality in person.

Arrange formalities

Would you like to arrange your affairs online? Then you must log in to MijnDenHaag. Use DigiD to do this. You can do this in 2 ways:

Which formalities can you arrange?

The municipality is working on a new MijnDenHaag. You can now already arrange a number of formalities through the new MijnDenHaag.

Check the list below to see where you can look at and add details to your personal information.

  • View your data in the Personal Records Database (BRP), such as:
    • your personal data and address details
    • the number of people registered at your address
  • Request an address investigation: the municipality will check whether somebody is living at the address which is in the BRP.

  • Look at your resident and visitor parking permits.
  • Pay your parking tickets.
  • Purchase extra parking credit.
  • Look at your PIN code and registration number. You can also change the PIN code.
  • Change the number plate on your parking permit.
  • Pay your parking permit automatically with direct debit.
  • Change the bank account number you use to pay your parking permit.
  • Register and deregister your visitors.
  • Extend your parking permit.

Look at all of your applications, objections and changes you have made in MijnDenHaag. And check the status of your procedure.

You can check your information in 2 ways:

1. In MijnDenHaag for:

  • welfare benefits
  • renting out your home during your holiday

  • Ooievaarspas
  • Gift card for caregivers and volunteers (2023)

  • Are you making use of budgeting assistance? (This is when an organisation manages your money.)
    • Look at the overview of your balance, debits and credits, bookings and budget tasks.
    • Download your daily bank statements and send them to yourself by email.
  • Are you registered for help with paying off your debts (debt counselling)? Follow your application.
  • Has your application been approved by all creditors? Look at the overview of your debts and payments. You can do this as long as the scheme is in effect.
  • Do you have a loan from the Gemeentelijke Kredietbank (GKB)? Check your loan and look at your balance.

Are you unable to pay the municipal taxes on time? Arrange a payment scheme with the Municipal Tax Department using the page Begin link: Apply for a tax payment scheme, end link. .

  • Provide or change your email address or telephone number.

  • Look at your tax information.
  • Look at and pay your tax assessments from the municipality.
  • Contest your assessment for municipal taxes.

  • Access your personal data.

  • Look at your ground lease information and the overview of payments.
  • Pay the ground lease invoices or arrange automatic payment.

You only see your own details in MijnDenHaag. You will not see your partner or housemate’s information.

Log in for someone else

Would you like to log in on behalf of another person? Unfortunately this is not yet possible. The municipality is working on the possibility of logging in using DigiD Authorisation.

Berichtenbox

The Berichtenbox is your personal online letterbox for government correspondence. When you register, you will automatically receive messages from the municipality in your inbox.
