Certificate of Conduct for legal entities

You do not apply for a Certificate of Conduct for legal entities at the Municipality of The Hague. You can arrange for this at the Dienst Justis (Integrity and Screening Agency) of the Ministry of Justice and Security.

The application procedure for the Certificate of Conduct for legal entities (VOG RP) is different from the application for the Begin link: Certificate of Conduct, end link. for natural persons (VOG NP).

The company must appoint a representative who submits the application. This can be a director, partner or manager. The representative must be authorised as such under the company’s bylaws or by express consent.

With a Certificate of Conduct for legal entities, companies can demonstrate their integrity to partners. An investigation is conducted upon request. This investigation focuses on a a legal entity’s corporate compliance with criminal law. Natural persons who hold key positions within the legal entity may also be investigated.

The statement can be requested, for example, in order:

• to participate in a procurement procedure
• to enter into an agreement with someone
• to obtain membership of a professional association, as part of membership requirements
