Apply for parking permit for companies
Is your company located in an area with paid parking? Apply for a parking permit for companies. You can use this parking permit for different cars.

If you have a company with 10 FTEs, for example, you can apply to the municipality for 1 parking permit for on-street parking. For 20 FTEs you can apply for 2 parking permits. For 30 FTEs you can get 3 parking permits and so forth.
An exception has been made for a number of permit areas. You can find these exceptions below.

- Benoordenhout 10 (except for shops in Benoordenhout and companies in Clingendael)
- Bezuidenhout 11 (south of the Juliana van Stolberglaan)
- De Venen en de Reef 16
- Haagse Markt and area 62 (Schilderswijk)
- Rivierenbuurt 75
- Schilderswijk Midden 30M
Maximum number of permits you can apply for:
- 1 permit for companies with 1 to 5 FTEs
- 2 permits for companies with 6 to 10 FTEs
- 3 permits for companies with 11 to 15 FTEs
- subsequently 1 extra permit per 4 FTEs
In the following areas:
- Benoordenhout 10 (shops in Benoordenhout and companies in Clingendael)
- Bezuidenhout 11 (the Juliana van Stolberglaan and the area north of it)
- Geuzen- en Statenkwartier / Duinoord 14
- Haagse Markt and area 62 (Transvaal and Groothandelsmarkt)
- Leyweg shopping area 22A
- Scheveningen / Duindorp 80
Maximum number of permits you can apply for:
- 1 permit for companies with 1 to 2 FTEs
- 2 permits for companies with 3 to 4 FTEs
- 3 permits for companies with 5 to 6 FTEs
- subsequently 2 extra permits per 2 FTEs
In the following areas:
- around the Palacepromenade
- Energiekwartier
- De Resident
it is only possible to park in your own parking space.
Other exceptions
- Binnenstad 70: maximum of 4 permits per company.
- Frederikstraat and area 85f: maximum of 1 permit per company.
- You are a business owner in an area where a parking permit is needed to park.
- You do not have your own parking space, for example, in a garage or on your own property. And you are also unable to rent or buy a parking space.
- Is your company car longer than 6 metres or higher than 2.40 metres? Then other Begin link: conditions, end link. apply.
You have more than 1 company at the same address
Are there several businesses registered at the same address at the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce KVK? Then there are extra conditions.
- You or your company are registered in the Trade Register of the KVK, in the Register for Associations or Foundations, or at a professional association.
- You or your company have an independent rental contract or purchase deed for the relevant address.
- You or your company have different employees than the other company at your address.
- You or your company have other directors or managers than the other company at your address.
- You or your company have your own mission, name, telephone number and letterhead paper.
- You or your company work in a different industry than the other company at your address.
Send the following documents with your application:
- A registration number in the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce KVK.
- Do you practice a regulated profession? For example, as an artist, text writer or dentist? And are you not registered at the KVK? Send the following:
- a purchase deed or rental contract
- an extract from the register of professions for your profession. Or a copy of the tax return (national taxes) for the year before the year for which you are applying for the parking permit. This should show that your company is located in a permit area.
For more than 1 permit or an extra permit
- A copy of the payroll list signed by your bookkeeper.
- Or you send a signed declaration by your accountant. The declaration must state how many full-time or part-time employees work at your address.
The payroll list or declaration may not be more than 1 week old.

- Application fee: € 16.75
- Fee for the permit: € 433.15 per year
The starting and ending date of your permit depends on the neighbourhood for which you have a permit. Look at Begin link: Extend parking permit, end link. to see when you need to extend your permit. If you apply for a permit in the middle of the year, then you will pay for part of the year.
- Has your application been approved? Then the municipality will send you the registration number and the PIN code for the parking permit by post. Are you paying through iDeal? Then you will receive your registration number within 1 week. You will get your PIN code 1 day later.
- Are you paying by direct debit? You will receive your registration number within 1 week after the payment is received. You will get your PIN code 1 day later.
- Are you paying by invoice? Then you will get your registration and PIN code within 3 weeks after the payment is received.
You have a business from home
- Do you have a home business? Then you can apply for a parking permit for residents as your first permit. This is less expensive.
- Do you have 1 or more parking permits for residents at your business address? Then this number will be deducted from the number of company parking permits you can apply for.
You want to park in a shopping street
Your parking permit is not valid in many shopping streets during store opening hours (usually between 9.00 and 17.00 or 18.00 hrs.). You may park there with your permit only outside the opening hours. These streets are indicated by a red dotted line on the Begin link: maps of the permit areas, end link. .
