Security during NATO Summit

The NATO Summit will be held at the World Forum in The Hague on 24 and 25 June 2025. Many government leaders, ministers, delegation members and journalists will attend the summit. This will require good security measures. The municipality will inform you about this.

Police security

Joint partnership

Many organisations are working together to make sure that the required security measures are in place. The Netherlands Police and Ministry of Defence will play an important role in terms of security. They will ensure that the summit proceeds safely and without any disruptions. Thousands of police officers and military personnel from all over the country are expected to be deployed. The municipality will be responsible for the safety of area residents and the public order. The interests of the residents, businesses and visitors to The Hague will be taken into consideration as much as possible.

The municipality is working on the preparation in the run-up to the NATO Summit. The municipality will organise an information meeting for residents and organisations in the World Forum on Wednesday, 11 December. The meeting will focus on what is known at that time about the measures regarding accessibility and security.
