Hague residents show off their favourite spots

Residents of The Hague are the focus of the exhibition and the magazine ‘Haagse mensen’ (People of The Hague). They posed for the photos at their favourite spot in their neighbourhood for the well-known photographer Daniel Heikens.

The exhibition and the magazine with the stories of these local people are connected to the Omgevingsvisie Den Haag 2050.

Exhibition in libraries

The ‘Haagse Mensen’ photo exhibition can be seen on the 4th floor of the Central Library from 16 May to 26 June. During this same period you can see part of the photos in the branch libraries in the neighbourhoods.

Free magazine

The magazine with all of the stories is available for free at various places in the cities, such as libraries and neighbourhood centres. It is also available online at Begin external link: www.omgevingsvisie.denhaag.nl(External link), end external link..

Omgevingsvisie Den Haag 2050

The municipality is working on the Omgevingsvisie Den Haag 2050. This plan is about the municipality’s vision for the future of The Hague and the choices which need to be made in terms of construction, nature, transportation, energy and safety. And about the locations which the municipality wants to keep and protect. Some of these locations are shown off by these proud residents and business owners ‘Haagse Mensen’.
