NATO summit in 2025 in The Hague

The Hague will be hosting the NATO summit in 2025. The summit will be held from 24 to 26 June 2025.

The summit will take place in the World Forum. It is the first time the Netherlands will be organising a NATO summit.

Many international guests 

During the summit around 45 heads of state and government leaders, 45 foreign ministers and 45 defence ministers will come to the Netherlands together with their delegations. About 2,000 journalists will come to report on the NATO summit. There will also be a conference for invited guests. Some 500 people are expected to attend. In total about 8,500 people are expected to come to The Hague for the summit.  

Impact on the city

During the days the NATO summit is being held in The Hague, the municipality will take various measures. For example, to make sure the city remains accessible and safe. The municipality will take steps so that you experience as little inconvenience as possible.   

3 June: meeting for neighbourhood residents

On 3 June the municipality, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will organise a meeting for local residents living near the World Forum. Read about it in the Begin link: news article, end link. .
