Enjoy the smoke-free beach

Beach visitors who would like to get some fresh air or catch some rays can now enjoy the smoke-free beach. This section of the beach can be found between the beach restaurants Hart Beach and Fonk in Scheveningen.

The smoke-free beach is an experment. The experiment is meant to help reduce the pollution caused by cigarette butts on the beach. There are also monthly clean-ups and other activities to make the beach clean and keep it that way.
